I was able to find the segment for the HBO: Concert for Valor that I worked on last year. Very cool to see a number of my shots make it into the edit.
Many years ago I was shown the Firefly TV show and instantly fell in love. Sadly I learned of it after it had been canceled. Ever since then I have followed a number of the actors involved and been very happy with the work I have seen them do. Particuarly the TV show Castle. But very recently I stumbled upon a Indiegogo page for Con Man, a web series by Alan Tudyk, and Nathan Fillion. They met and exceeded there funding goal in a very short time, and I am really looking forward to the comic genius that is bound to come out of this pair.
Ben working on the site a little bit more, adding a few images and content. Not too much more to got, also was able to get another domain name that is just my name connecting here.
As for the National Geographic video I was asked to work on, it's similar to a job I did a number of years ago (although last time I was doing grip/audio. A local artist/scientist creates some of the most amazing models of prehistoric peoples from examining their sculls and making them look how the might have looked with flesh, hair, and everything else on them. They are amazing, and gloriously detailed. What I would have loved to do would be to show the heads and their detail but sadly I was not allowed to get any pictures are use the work. When the segment goes up on DatGeo I'll post about it here. And point out any of shooting I did, if they use it.
